You know you have a special kitchen when Julia Child spent her childhood in the home! The current homeowner Kristin Harrison spent two years renovating the space inside the 1909 historic home located in Pasadena, California. She worked with interior designer Charmean Neithart and architect Warren Techentin to create a charming space with vintage authenticity combined with modern amenities! The real show-stopper for me is the beadboard ceiling, painted the most delightful shade of aqua (Benjamin Moore Bali)! Houzz had a terrific article all about the kitchen–including a 'before' shot and all the sources, along with more photos by Erika Bierman...so check that out here!

Have a great weekend! I'll be thinking of everyone in the Northeast...stay safe in the storm!!
