What a cool kitchen! When Suzanne of Lake and Garden: Texas Living and her husband started designing their new lake home in Corsicana, Texas, they wanted it to reflect the regional architecture and to have a feeling of age or permanence. Doesn't it look amazing?! The lovely blue color (Seascape from the Valspar collection at Lowe's) was inspired by beautiful dry climate plants they saw at the New York Botanical Gardens (check out her pics!). The perfect color for a hot climate! I love the rustic look of the limestone walls and exposed beams, and how cool is that huge hood! You can read all about the space and see more of the home at Suzanne's blog!
