A year and a half ago, Shannan of Flower Patch Farmgirl moved with her family from the country to the city into a brand new home in Indiana. I think it's safe to say she took her country-loving roots with her! I'd never have guessed the home was a new build with all the great vintage touches and thrifty finds she incorporated into the design! Take the sliding door in the kitchen...it came from the school she attended for 13 years. They bought it at a pre-tear-down auction for $8! Of course I love the custom-built island most, painted Valspar's Twilight Meadow. The main panels are actually crafted from old doors! And how about those cute stools–a major score from TJ Maxx!
