Although this Kansas City home is smack dab in the middle of the country, JoAnn Romano – lead artist and owner of Architectural Elements, wanted the dining room to have a kind of coastal, beachy feel. The walls are incredible here, I love how JoAnn used both texture and metallics to bring life to the serene Aegean Sea color. She actually said the current trend in faux is color. From Tuscan to contemporary, people are looking to bring in color, freshness and happiness to their homes. I like the sound of that!
