The home belonging to interior designer Susie Hoffmann of <a href="http://www.envidesign.com/" target="_blank">Envi Design</a> is actually in Bozeman, Montana of all places. She says the area surrounding the converted 1930s flour mill used to be pretty gritty, but is starting to get hipper. "It's kind of like the Brooklyn of Bozeman". She did an awesome job of fusing a kitchen, dining and living rooms, office and even a guest nook into one relatively small space. I love the pops of juicy color everywhere...what a bright and happy home! Since then I've seen the winning bathroom above floating around the blogopshere. And for good reason...is it not one of the most gorgeous bathrooms you've ever seen?? Schumacher's <a href="http://www.fschumacher.com/search/ProductDetail.aspx?sku=5003622" target="_blank">Albero Floreale in Aqua</a> wallpaper is incredible, and looks perfect with the paint color on the makeup vanity. The corresponding bedroom is so beautiful too, with more stunning wallcovering. The little girl's room is an absolute dream come true!! And I love the blue and green living room above...so comfy and colorful! Not if you're the DIY genius Cassie of <a href="http://hisugarplum.blogspot.com/2011/06/babygirls-room-reveal.html" target="_blank">Hi Sugarplum</a>, who recently revealed one heck of a makeover on her blog. I absolutely adore this room, everything about it, and I'm sure her young daughter is overjoyed with her new "big girl" space. She has her own art center and little hidden nook in the closet. What child wouldn't love that?! The wall color (<a href="http://www.sherwin-williams.com/do_it_yourself/paint_colors/ideas/color/SW6470/">Waterscape by Sherwin Williams</a>) is the perfect background for all the fun color and prints going on. The Parisian themed bedding (Nicole Miller's Fifi Collection) is pretty much the cutest thing ever! What I love most about this room though is that Cassie did a fantastic job chronicling all the DIY projects the room entailed. The fabulous drapes and monogrammed pelmet, the painted bed and highboy, the no-sew pillows, even faux crown molding, and lots of the accessories are all results of Cassie's hard work. We had over 1,300 photos from our incredible photographer <a href="http://www.spencer-combs.com/">Spencer Combs</a>, so it was really hard to whittle it down to this many! I love them all! So now on to the details: The turquoise bridesmaids dresses, flower girl dresses, and my wedding gown were all made by <a href="http://dianawingetolson.com/" target="_blank">Diana Winget Olson</a>, my talented dressmaker step-mother. It was so much fun designing them and picking out fabric! I loved every twirl-worthy second in mine!! The world's most awesome makeup artist <a href="http://www.brettdorrianartistrystudios.com/" target="_blank">Brett Dorrian</a> was responsible for all of our hair and makeup. She is just the greatest, really went above and beyond for me that day. I know you're all in love with the peonies...aren't they breathtaking?? All of the floral arrangements were done by <a href="http://www.ashleyfoxdesigns.com/" target="_blank">Ashley Fox Designs</a>, the most helpful and talented (and sweetest) vendor we worked with. My good friend Nikki of <a href="http://www.lovelyscribbles.com/" target="_blank">Lovely Scribbles</a> did the dazzling calligraphy for the place cards (as well as our invitations, bless her heart!) They were pieces of art! Oooh and I loved the way the table numbers turned out, created by <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/62893079/reception-table-number-cards-set-of-10?ref=pr_shop" target="_blank">Harmony Design</a> on Etsy. My friend Kim Yeager of <a href="http://www.larknestdesign.com/" target="_blank">Lark Nest Design</a> came up with the <a href="http://www.marthastewart.com/how-to/tissue-paper-pom-poms-how-to" target="_blank">pom-pom idea</a>, and helped us hang them all up! They were so fun and everyone loved them. My beautiful pearl necklace and earrings were designed by Jen of <a href="http://www.jwpjewelry.com/" target="_blank">JWP Jewelry Designs</a> and birdcage veil by <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/AnnLeslie?ref=pr_shop_more" target="_blank">Ann Leslie Designs</a>. Wish I could wear them every day!! The service was held at <a href="http://www.lakewoodcemetery.com/History_Chapel.html" target="_blank">Lakewood Memorial Chapel</a> (did you see all the mosaic?!? Jaw-dropping.) in Minneapolis. We were lucky to have Pastor Diane Roth come in to officiate the service from my family's long-time church...so very special for us! And lastly, we chose classical guitarist <a href="http://joelshapira.com/" target="_blank">Joel Shapira</a> to play all of the music for the service, which was such a treat of its own! And oh boy, how could I almost forget this?! Chris spent HOURS finding the perfect socks and turquoise ties for the guys. <a href="http://www.welovecolors.com/Shop/SolidColorMensNylonSocks.htm">We Love Colors</a> and <a href="http://www.savviformalwear.com/">Savvi Formalwear</a> ended up having exactly what we wanted! Our reception was so fun!! It was held on the banks of Mississippi River across from downtown Minneapolis at the <a href="http://www.threesonskitchen.com/venues/stanthonymain.html" target="_blank">Saint Anthony Main Event Centre</a>, which used to be an old mattress factory. Chris and I loved the exposed bricks, all the big windows and exposed beams. Our awesome DJ, Nate from <a href="http://www.instantrequest.com/" target="_blank">Instant Request,</a> brought in turquoise mood lighting which really made a big impact (for not a lot of money...we liked that!) The event was catered by <a href="http://www.threesonskitchen.com/" target="_blank">3 Sons Signature Cuisine</a> and seriously, they had the best food ever in addition to first-class service...I still hear about it from so many people. They baked that glorious cake as well (it was super yummy too!) and Ashley decorated it with her flowers. I wish I could have it sitting around my house because it was one of my favorite things about the wedding. See how the pleating on it kind of matches my dress?? Love that! Oh and my adorable robe, I LOVE that robe and still wear it all the time...it is by <a href="http://store.plumprettysugar.com/products/Kimono-Style-Robe.-Knee-Length.-Beckoning-Creatures..html" target="_blank">Plum Pretty Sugar</a>. And I can't forget those stellar shoes by <a href="http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/steve-madden-fifi-caged-sandal/3124378" target="_blank">Steve Madden</a> (that I only only managed to wear until dinner). Phew! I hope that didn't bore you to tears! Our wedding day was honestly the best, most happiest day of my life, and I think the photos really reflect the energy and love Chris and I felt. The last two months have been so great, I just love being married to him. I couldn't be happier! Oh wait, our new puppy is almost house-trained! Ha!
