Inspired by a sea breeze and the waterfront view, this bold bedroom from the <a href="http://www.statelyhomesbythesea.com/gallery.asp?year=2013" target="_blank">Stately Homes by-the-Sea Designer Showhouse</a> (photographed here by <a href="http://memoriesttl.com/" target="_blank">Wing Wong</a>) is a cozy hideaway with a turquoise and cobalt color palette I'm obsessed with! The dramatic daybed is the focal point of the space, but I adore the comfy window seat too! Really I just love the pattern play going on everywhere...so fun!! The Newton, Massachusetts designer set out to create a cheerful and colorful, yet light and airy space with a little bit of a laid-back, cottage-y vibe, where her guests could kick back and relax. The green trellis carpet was the first thing Kelly chose for the room...and her favorite thing about the space!
