What's especially cool is that she mixed budget pieces from places like <a href="http://www.homegoods.com/" target="_blank">HomeGoods</a> (the lamps were only $25!) with more expensive ones. Lisa Teague + Isola Bella Giveaway

It was later shown in <a href="http://www.countryliving.com/syndication/cottage-of-many-colors-syn?click=main_sr#slide-1" target="_blank">Country Living</a>, with these gorgeous photos taken by <a href="http://www.bjornwallander.com/" target="_blank">Björn Wallander</a> and styled by <a href="http://stacystyle.wordpress.com/" target="_blank">Stacy Kunstel</a>. How cool are those stairs?! I'd smile every time I went up them! It's really no question that Lisa is considered an expert in color and painted surfaces. Lisa's blog <a href="http://www.colorgypsy.com/" target="_blank">Color Gypsy</a> is a must-read for me! So much color, so many great ideas and fantastic inspiration, definitely check it out! You can see more of her colorful home <a href="http://www.houseofturquoise.com/2010/06/lisa-teague.html" target="_blank">here</a>!<br /><br /><br />Another artist I admire is Gina Feddersen, the owner and artist behind the <a href="http://www.isolabellashop.com/" target="_blank">Isola Bella</a> collection.<br />Isola Bella was created in 2008 on the island of St. Thomas and includes jewelry design, tabletop accents, pillows, handbags and more...all with lovely organic patterns and textures found in nature and the sea! Gina also recently launched her <a href="https://ginafeddersen.com/" target="_blank">fine art website</a> featuring her one-of-a-kind paintings and ceramic artwork in porcelain and stoneware (and lots of turquoise!). And to top it all off, she has an inspiring <a href="http://isolabellashop.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">blog</a> that any sea-lover will dig! This 1920's bungalow home in the heart of downtown Carmel, California was designed by <a href="http://www.reganbakerdesign.com/" target="_blank">Regan Baker</a>, an Austin, Texas interior designer. Doesn't the home feel super inviting?? I love the open floor plan, the board and batten walls and those great high ceilings! Although it's predominately neutral, I'm appreciating the bits of color here and there....especially in that beautiful blue bedroom!
